Pink beach

Pink Beach or Tangsi beach is one of the beaches in Komodo island, East Nusa Tenggara. The beach is called Pink Beach because the sand beach is pink. The pink color of its beach is a mixture of white sand beach colors mixed with crushed coral, shells, calcium carbonate from marine invertebrates that are very small, and also Foraminifera, microscopic amoeba that has a red body shell.

At Pink Beach, there are so many marine organisms. No fewer than 1,000 species of fish, 260 species of coral, and 70 species of sponge can be found here. Having so much marine life, this place is a proper spot for snorkeling and diving for sea sports lovers.

This beach is so calm and only has small waves so it makes tourists more comfortable when playing there. The beauty of Pink Beach also looks perfect with the stretch of hills around it. On the left side there is a hill with wide grasslands and from this hill the view of Pink Beach looks very beautiful.

Tangsi Beach or Pink Beach is located in Sekaroh village, Jerowaru sub-district, East Lombok district, Mataram city, West Nusa Tenggara. To reach Pink Beach, tourists can pass the route from the city of Mataram to Tanjung Ringgit Beach because of its close proximity. Damaged and potholed roads make it take tourists about 2 hours to get there. The entrance to this beach is 1 km before tourists enter Tanjung Ringgit beach, or before arriving at the entrance to Ringgit beach, you will see a sign on the side of the road that says "PANTAI PINK 50M".
